Salient Features :

CBO(Community Based Organization):

SHG:

The institutional structure envisaged under NRLM is setting up of Self Help Groups (SHGs) at the neighborhood. Each SHG consists of at least 10 households/members.One member from each poor household would be brought under SHG network and the member should be a woman .

Up-Sangha(Village Organization):

It is a Village Level Organization which is a collection of many SHGs . The Objective of the organization is to nurture and monitor SHGs activity.

Sangha(Cluster Level Federation):

It is a Gram Panchyet (GP) level cluster of SHG under Anandadhara. Sangha is a collection of many Upsangha. Sangha is register organization under West Bengal Society Cooperative Act.

Maha-Sangha:

All Sanghas Under a Block are member of BLF or Mahasangha.This organization may be register under West Bengal Society Act. or West Bengal Cooperative Society Act.The Objective of the Organization is to nurture and monitor the activity of CLF.

WBSWDA Convergence :

West Bengal State Watershed Development Agency , plays major role in providing subsidized livelihood projects along with small amount of loans to SHG members so that they can earn from their micro projects.

Paddy Procurement :

In this project, Sangha procures rice from small and marginal farmers of its Gram Panchayat area and supplies to tagged Rice mill. In this way many more farmers are able to sell their paddy to Government in Minimum Support Price (MSP).

CIF(Community Investment Fund) to Sangha :

The CIF assistance released to the Sanghas is basically meant for providing short term micro-credit loan(repayable within 18 months) to the eligible SHGs for on-lending short term livelihood . Credit (repayable within 12 months) to their members for undertaking productive livelihood enhancing.

Revolving Fund (RF) to SHG:

NRLM Provides Revolving Fund (RF) assistance to eligible SHGs of Rs. 15000/- to catalyze the process of internal lending within members and to enable them to meet the immediate credit needs of the members .

Credit Linkage :

Self Help Group(SHG) after passing the gradation test done by officials of Block and Bank become eligible for Bank Loan for financing their economic activities. When bank finances against their activities ,these groups are called Credit Linked SHG .

Sristishree :

It is a permanent outlet for Displaying & Selling S.H.G products ,In Paschim Medinipur, “District outlet” is located at the Collectorate Campus ,”Block Outlets” are located in Block Campus.

It is a incubation support program by NRLM for SHGs, for Non-Farm Business only.

FL- CRP :

Sangha Netris of each Sangha take Six days of recidential training regarding financial literacy at RSETI and after that they become FL-CRP .They ,on returning to their home block ,they train to SHG members on financial literacy.

Bank-Sakhi Training :

CSP-BL(Community Service Provider-Bank Linkage) of each Sangha looks after the credit requirement of SHGs in their respective GPs and keeps constant contact with the bank branch of their area for smooth Flow of Credit to the SHG members .

These CSP-BL are given Six(6) days residential training at RSETI Debra and after that they take the IIBF(Indian Institute of Banking & Finance) exam end on successful passing out they become eligible for engagement of Bank Sakhis at different branches of Bank Presently.

BOP(Basic Orientation Program) :

BOP is an awareness program for members of New SHGs. Through this program members are being aware about the function ,the benefits of SHGs under NRLM(Anandadhara). They also aware about their duties and obligation to the group for the success of the group as a whole and their members.

ARD(Animal Resource Development) :

With this training SHG members are trained in livestock farming to generate income. In some areas livestock farming is the main source of income of the SHG members.
